Through sensory awareness activities, Mind-Body Bridging uses the mind’s own healing capabilities to help uncover and calm our frequently hypercritical, self-defeating inner dialogue. 

According to this modality, if our mind-body condition is disrupted, we may mistakenly identify with and become overwhelmed by our personal Identity System, perpetuating a sense of concern and powerlessness. By becoming more present aware of our sensory contact with the world, Mind-Body Bridging tries to relax the Identify System.

If you are interested in this program the cost is $35, and registration entails calling the front desk and letting them know you are interested in the group. The front desk will take you through the intake process. The group is held every Thursday for ten weeks from 6:00 to 7:00 beginning April 7.

Through this program utilizing practices that bridge the mind and the body, clients will learn to tap into their own intrinsic healing mechanism. They will also have the ability of identifying anxious thoughts, sitting with them, and letting them float away with grounding through bodily senses will help clients lessen anxious thoughts. 

The clients will learn to distinguish between their fear and their identity. Additionally, the program will guarantee clients learn strategies to help them declutter the emotional and mental clutter that can get in the way of acting more in line with their authentic selves.
