img 6218 Tracy Washington is a Certified Social Worker. She graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in family and human development. She earned her master’s degree in social work with a focus on mental health from the University of Utah. Tracy uses a client-centered, strengths-based, systems approach that is integrative and pulls from a variety of therapeutic methods to meet individual preferences and needs. She is passionate about helping people heal, improve connection with others, transition through difficult life changes, find hope, meaning, and purpose, and achieve better overall health and well-being through evidence-based practice. Tracy enjoys working with adults and couples. She has experience using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, mindfulness, and more.

Tracy was born and raised in Utah other than her elementary school years which were spent in Chicago. She loves being a mom and spending time with her three children. She teaches Kundalini Yoga and Mindfulness meditation classes. Some of her other favorite things include travel, cooking, hiking, mountain biking, being at the beach or in the mountains, and going on adventures.
