Tracy Washington is a Licensed Certified Social Worker. She graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in family and human development. She earned her master’s degree in social work with a focus on mental health from the University of Utah.
Tracy uses a client-centered, strengths- and attachment-based approach that is integrative and pulls from several therapeutic methods, and extensive life experience, to meet individual preferences and needs. She is passionate about helping people heal, improve connection with others, transition through difficult life changes and transitions, find hope, meaning, and purpose, and achieve better overall health and well-being through evidence-based practice. Tracy enjoys working with adults and couples. She is trained and experienced in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, mindfulness, and more. Tracy was born and raised in Utah other than her elementary school years which were spent in Chicago. She has a blended family and loves spending time with them. She teaches Kundalini Yoga and mindfulness meditation classes. Some of her other favorite things include travel, being at the beach or in the mountains, hiking, mountain biking, going on adventures, or just spending time with her people. |
