samantha lucas Samantha earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work. She works with children, adolescents, and adults, with particular interests in trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence, emotional regulation, grief and loss, identity, relationship concerns, and navigating difficult life transitions.

Samantha’s approach to therapy is warm, relational, curious, and highly individualized. She believes meaningful therapy begins with feeling safe enough to be fully human—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation to have everything figured out. She especially enjoys working with clients who may have struggled to feel understood in traditional settings and believes in adapting therapy to fit the person rather than expecting the person to fit therapy.

Naturally curious about people and what shapes the way they experience the world, Samantha enjoys looking beyond symptoms or behaviors to understand the deeper experiences and patterns underneath them. Her style is genuine and down-to-earth, often incorporating creativity, humor, experiential activities, and practical skill-building alongside deeper exploration. Her goal is for clients to feel genuinely seen and understood while developing greater insight, self-understanding, and the tools needed to create meaningful change in their lives.
